Program Objectives
- Promote the education, research and optimal patient care in the field of Pediatric Spinal Cord Injuries.
- Review the difference between patients with spinal cord injury and patients with spinal dysraphism as well as the
differences in treatment
- Introduce new directions in medicine and
technology as they relate to the innovative management of children with spinal
cord injury and spinal dysfunction
- Present current research data and new scientific
developments pertaining to pediatric spinal cord dysfunction and injuries
- Provide an opportunity to discuss complex
problems of specific patients and/or patient groups with experts in pediatric
spinal cord injury and spinal dysfunction
- Increase the knowledge base of conference
participants in the contemporary management of children with spinal cord injury and spinal
dysfunction
