Program Objectives

  • Promote the education, research and optimal patient care in the field of Pediatric Spinal Cord Injuries.
  • Review the difference between patients with spinal cord injury and patients with spinal dysraphism as well as the differences in treatment
  • Introduce new directions in medicine and technology as they relate to the innovative management of children with spinal cord injury and spinal dysfunction
  • Present current research data and new scientific developments pertaining to pediatric spinal cord dysfunction and injuries
  • Provide an opportunity to discuss complex problems of specific patients and/or patient groups with experts in pediatric spinal cord injury and spinal dysfunction
  • Increase the knowledge base of conference participants in the contemporary management of children with spinal cord injury and spinal dysfunction
