CONFERENCE LOCATION & TRAVEL

Philadelphia, PA is located on the East Coast of the United States about 100 miles south of New York City and 140 miles north of Washington, DC. There are many direct national and international flights to Philadelphia’s International Airport (PHL). The Sofitel Philadelphia and Shriners Hospitals for Children are located within 30 minutes of the airport by train or cab. Major railway links between Philadelphia and other major East Coast cities such as Washington, DC, New York and Boston are easily accessible.

The conference will be held at Shriners Hospitals for Children located in North Philadelphia. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sofitel Philadelphia for IFESS conference attendees. Shriners Hospitals for Children is about 3 miles from the Sofitel Philadelphia and center city. A chartered bus will transport attendees to and from the Sofitel and Shriners Hospitals for Children. The conference site can also be accessed via a 10-minute subway ride from center city.

* Third 3rd and fourth 4th persons in room with two double beds are $20.00 per night/per person additional. Room rates do not include local taxes and fees, which are 14%. Should an attendee of the group cancel his or her room reservation after 4:00p.m. on their arrival date, one night’s room revenue will be non-refundable.
